Eye of the Dragon - Pitaya Cocktail
Here’s another easy-ish cocktail you can make at home if you don't have any fancy gear or ingredients!
Even though you need to make the simple syrup beforehand, this drink is perfect for parties since the beautiful pink hue, which comes from a simple syrup infused with dragon fruit (aka pitaya), looks super freaking cool PLUS you’re already making a batch of simple syrup — easy to halve, double, triple, etc!
Roseberry Spritz
This cocktail recipe was actually one of the first ones I documented during quarantine in 2020. It reminds me of park and beach hangs, biking through the streets of an empty Times Square and Chinatown, and chilling on the stoop — some of the few pleasant memories from lockdown when NYC felt like theme park.
Big Dill Energy
A refreshing summer cocktail made with gin, Norwegian aquavit, sweetened with elderflower liqueur, and rounded out with fresh dill.
Purple Haze
Similar to my holiday palate cleanser (Dita’s Granita), this is another gin based recipe with fresh shiso, cucumber, and citrus flavors, colorfully accented by beautiful butterfly pea flowers.
Dita’s Granita — Shiso Elderflower Granité
This boozy granita (granité) is basically a gin, elderflower, and shiso frozen cocktail. Perfect as a palate cleanser between dinner and dessert or as a standalone dessert!
Savage Garden
This gin and egg white cocktail features a rose flavored syrup for a floral twist
Lavender & Velvet
This lavender infused cocktail is an herbaceous and floral take on the classic Gin Fizz, a drink that was really popular during the early 1900’s.
Blackberry Collins
This cocktail is a mix between a Tom Collins (normally gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, topped with soda water and garnishes) and a Bramble (normally gin, crème de mure, lemon juice, simple syrup).
